Beth Trepagnier sounds like Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac, but a lot heavier, after a day of four packets of cigarettes have been smoked and at least a bottle of Jack Daniels has been beaten back. The kind of voice I have with the greatest pleasure to listen. "My Heart believes in Love," a funky soul number in the later Stax tradition. This is raw, honest, direct and plain. And indeed, sometimes in a slightly different key than the rest of the band, so what! An icon like Neil Young has built an entire career in this fashion… “Louisiana Lover” Beth Trepagnier, a great picture has delivered.

Wow man, I feel this deep down inside. The tunes are very solid musically, unmistakably New Orleans. The lyrics though, woah, you've been through it. Or you're really close to someone who's been through the highs and lows of that great misery of love. These songs have a true soul to them. Beautiful. I'd like to play both Crazy For You and The Only Man For Me. Thanks and keep up the good work!
